Two Part-time Positions Available

Canberra Royals Rugby Union Football Club Inc (Royals) is seeking applications to fill two part-time positions to help with the day-to-day running of the club.

Rugby Operations Manager

The Rugby Operations Manager is responsible for managing Royals non-business activities.

The Rugby Operations Managers will oversee Royals performance both on and off the field in accordance with the spirit and ethos of the Club’s Strategic Plan.

The key functions include:

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the clubs coaching, managing and volunteer resources
  • Oversight and coordination of Royals Rugby ‘on-field and player’ operations
  • Liaise with ACT & SNSW Rugby Union on administrative matters

Hours: Part Time - working a minimum of 15 hours to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Salary: $25,000 per annum with some expenses and performance bonuses
Contract: two years (24 months) with an option to extend for another period of 12 months.

Business Manager

The Business Manager is responsible for managing Royals business activities to keep the club financially sustainable and professionally run.

The Business Manager is accountable for Royals business performance in accordance with the spirit and ethos of the Club’s Strategic Plan.

The key functions of this role include:

  • Manage the Club’s sponsorship program
  • Oversee Royals Rugby business operations
  • Management and support of club communications
  • Identifying opportunities to grow revenue and build sustainability

Hours: Part Time - working a minimum of 14 hours to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Salary: $21,900 per annum with some expenses and performance bonuses
Contract: two years (24 months) with an option to extend for another period of 12 months.
